Marshall entered the family category so we could all help. It was fun and we spent most of a weekend and no telling how much money on supplies! I never expected to win, but did expect more than a construction paper cutout ribbon for participation that was smaller than my hand. I am thinking they used two pieces of construction paper to make ribbons for the whole school! Oh well, we made memories! And we learned that Yertle the Turtle was selfish and now anytime someone in the house says "I want..." someone says, "you are acting like Yertle the Turtle" ... a good lesson to learn!
